The Vibes 1.0 with a'De and Guests" Radio Show Exclusive on Dance Effect Radio // 28 october 2011

"It's quite simple you might think to put some tracks together and here you go you have a mix but it isn't. How to put together tracks from monsters like Westbam , Stanton Warriors,Unkle or The Prodigy ? Thinking, that's the way. I must say that the result it's quite interesting and becomes more interesting when a mix like that you want to make it back2back more or less with someone. This mix is called "Breaked June" and it's mixed with my friend Silvah. He will take the mix to another direction right from The Prodigy with Spitfire . Stay tuned and who knows, maybe you'll see what we've seen,a wild night in break beat and breaks rhythms.

It's going to be an interesting night.. Stay tuned !"

INFO

A child of the ‘70s and ‘80s, raised a mixture of Rock, Glam, Punk, Ska, Funk, Disco, Motown & Electronica, Silvah was well prepared for the new sound wave creeping out of Chicago and Detroit in the mid to late ‘80s. These “parent” sounds, Chicago House and Detroit Techno, gave birth to a child who fled to the UK amid a crackdown on parties and events in the US. That child was called Acid House. From this moment on Silvah’s attention was captivated (and is still held) by the UK’s Rave Scene. Following the Acid House movement as it progressed into the ‘90s, Silvah picked up a passion for mixing which has stayed with him for nearly 20 years. Favouring the emerging harder Breakbeat Hardcore sound of the early ‘90s, Silvah took to the “Wheels of Steel”, playing at small parties wherever possible. Acts like The Prodigy, Liquid, SL2 and Altern-8 featured heavily in his playlists. Flash forward to today and the breakbeat element is still hugely evident in Silvah’s sets. Whether it’s Breaks, Dubstep, House, Jungle, 2-Step, BigBeat, Hip-Hop or Drum & Bass, if it’s got a MotherFUNKIN’ breakbeat it’s in !

“The mix I’ve provided for a’De’s show feeds off the energy of his own mix. Picking up on that vibe I’ve thrown down a grimy, snarling, ‘balls-to-wall’ beast of a mix pull on favourites old and new from the likes of Lunatic Calm (aka Elite Force), The Prodigy, The Crystal Method and Chase & Status with fresh twists on some tracks from guys like Myagi, The Rumblist and Far Too Loud. Hope you enjoy it!”

SPREAD THE WORD CAUSE THE VIBE IS TREMENDOUS !

Be there !
